    Regional Manager – Hampshire - up to £70,000 dependent on market experience, plus excellent benefits.

    Our client is a leading commercial insurance provider specialising in property, liability and motor classes of business. This is an exceptional opportunity to be a part of their planned growth and be instrumental in moving their business forward.

    The purpose of the job is:
    Effectively manage the Region through effective strategic change programmes.
    Prepare Annual Regional plans and budgets plus delivery of growth and profit objectives.
    Direct and motivate all personnel within the region to deliver their operational plans and service level agreements to the brokers.
    Provide support and opportunity for all staff to develop their full potential by effective leadership and through their personal development plans.
    Define, direct and manage broker development in the region and individual broker strategies.
    Ensure adherence to all policies and governance relating to prudent financial management and good underwriting practice.

    You will have full scope for the following:
    Full profit and loss accountability for a region up to £40m.
    Responsible for achieving Growth and profit targets as agreed in the regional business plans.
    Responsible for a local region of underwriting and development staff of up to 40 personnel.

    It is essential that you will have a proven track record in Sales and Operational Management.
    Experience of developing business plans and delivering against targets.
    Strong leadership skills and an excellent knowledge of local markets.
    Preferably ACII or FCII qualified.
