To become a Graduate/Trainee Recruitment Consultant you should already have the following attributes to offer - degree at 2:2 level or above in any subject.

Clear and confident communicator, happy working on the telephone, ability to work in a target driven environment, able to build good rapport with clients and candidates, strong time management skills, capable of keeping accurate records and confident of working under pressure.
Salary range up to £16,000 base per annum, with OTE of £23,000-£25,000 in first year.
